At thirty kilometres from Bodrum, near Bodrum Peninsula, there is a place Yaliciftlik, that will give you a different atmosphere from what you are used to seeing in other Turkish tourist places. This is perhaps one of the best-preserved resorts in the peninsula and Mugla district. On the one side, you see extends to the beautiful blue of the Aegean Sea, while on the other side you can notice dense pine forests. Among the alleys, there are many beehives which are handled by the local residents of the village and they produce honey of superior quality. On the lower line, below the forest, you can see the new line of fig-trees, so those who come here at a time when figs ripen can enjoy their taste.
Yaliciflik is the perfect destination to start a daily boat tour because all those ships that are going to famous Blue cruise are stationed here. From here you can go on a unique tour which takes you around of Gokova Gulf. This is how you can familiar with Turkey in a different way. Yaliciftlik is a very nice place, and this place may be enough to complete the whole vacation. However, if you wish to change the atmosphere a bit, it is enough to go by foot the nearby town of Torba, which will provide an entirely different picture of the Turkish regions. For destinations that are a bit further, one can get an advantage of permanent departures of the minibus - Dolmus and go to Golturkbuku. Also, you can go to Gumbet, which will give you a pleasant surprise when you look over beaches crowded with tourists from different countries.
