If you are already visiting the Manavgat River in the Antalya region be sure not to miss out on seeing the magnificent Manavgat Waterfall. Actually, it might be hard to miss it as the waterfall is up near the Oymapinar Dam, standing at 2 metres high and 40 kilometres wide. This is one of the best-known waterfalls within Turkey. It is located near the town of Side, 3 kilometres north of the town of Manavgat. Be aware that though the waterfall might not be very high the current is very powerful that the water gushes over the rocks and streams. One of the best ways to enjoy the view is to chill out at any of the shaded tea gardens or restaurants nearby. Enjoy a lunch with any of the fresh fish caught from the river or dip your feet in the cool water. There is also a cafeteria, souvenir shop and recreational sights to enjoy the rest of the day. It also possible to take a relaxing boat trip up the Manavgat River to take in the lush scenery, an amazing sight is especially where the creek joins the sea.
Being already at the waterfall you will most likely already pass the famous Manavgat River, but if you want to see other beautiful waterfalls, pay a visit to Kursunlu Waterfall and Ucarsu Waterfall.
