CAVUS BAY VILLAGE

Cavus Bay Village
Cavus Bay Village

If you have spare time while in Antalya, how about taking a side trip to the outlying areas? If you are looking for a site that brims with history but also with the natural mystique of the Turkish Mediterranean, make your way to Cavus Bay Village. It’s about 2 hours away by car and this ancient city located in the south coast of Turkey, near the larger town of Kumluca. Peaceful and pretty is this charming holiday destination if you are looking for an escape of it all. The dramatic backdrop of the pine-covered Taurus Mountains and the calm turquoise waters make the bay a heavenly blend.

As for the village, it is just as serene, cosy cobbled lanes, small souvenir stores and taverns all with friendly locals that share the relaxed pace of life. There is a river that runs into the eastern side of the bay that is lined with cafes and restaurants with floating seating areas to watch the day go by. It is a delightful way to spend the afternoon with a cup of Turkish coffee and some local sweets.

Should you be looking for more activities do you perhaps go sea kayaking at Adrasan Beach, or go trekking at Olympos Beydaglari National Park or explore the city of
Cirali.
